How To Draw A Miniature Schnauzer

Miniature Schnauzer

Group of side and front elevation drawings of the Miniature Schnauzer in standing and seated postures

The Miniature Schnauzer, hands identified by its expressive eyebrows and signature bristles, is a stout, tough domestic dog bred downwardly from the Standard Schnauzer. The Schnauzer lineage has been a staple farm dog since at least the 15th century, and the Miniature Schnauzer was bred to be a more efficient "rat-dog" due to its compact size. Technically a terrier breed, only with a wholly dissimilar personality, the Miniature Schnauzer is a friendly, obedient pet that makes for a wonderful family companion. The Miniature Schnauzer truly condenses the best features of the Schnauzer into a smaller package, creating a dog suitable for the fields or apartment living.
